Create Know Your Customer Study

Attitude-X users are able to gain valuable business insights from their customers by using a pre-built questionnaire included with an Attitude-X subscription.

Understanding customers is a key success factor for any small business. Providing the products and services customers are looking for grows strong customer relationships, improves growth opportunities, helps to manage business costs and identifies new target markets. The Attitude-X Know Your Customer Study (KYC Study) is an easy way to gather key data about customers and provides data analysis that can help identify new ways to strengthen customer relationships and target products and services.

The KYC Study is built with 44 questions that gather a range of customer-related data which can be broadly categorised as:

  • Demographic information

  • Spending preferences

  • Environmental influences,

  • Likes and dislikes relating to business products and services.

Create a Know Your Customer Study

Users can create multiple Know Your Customer Studies. Creating a single KYC Study allows you to gather as many responses as practical to improve the analysis results. However, as your business changes, you may wish to generate another Know Your Customer study to collect new data and compare how your business has evolved from the perspective of the customer.

  1. To get started, login to Attitude-X.

  2. To create a Know Your Customer Study, click the Create Form button (shown below in green):

  3. From the Create Form page, click the Use Templates button (shown below in green):

  4. From the list of available templates, click the Know Your Customer template appropriate for your business type. For example, for a cafe or restaurant, choose the KYC-Food Services template. You can view the questions included in the template.

  1. The KYC template will be shown in template view. Browse the questions that have been included in the template. When you are ready to proceed, click the USE THIS TEMPLATE button.

  2. You will be returned to the Form Design View. At this stage, you can change the title of the form and you may like to add description information to specific questions to help your customers provide better responses.
