Analytics Overview

Once a study has been created and published for customers to consume, the next step is to review the analysis of the responses from participants - the results of the study. This is the most exciting part of the process. You, as an Attitude-X subscriber, get to learn more about who your customers are, why they visit your business, and what products and services you might be able to offer or change to encourage new and existing customers to spend more with your business.

Types of Study Analysis

The analysis available to you vary depending on the type of study you create:

• Response Analysis - Available for both Attitude-X Studies and Custom Studies. Response analytics allow you to review individual responses to a study as well as visual representations of the results.

• Complex Analysis - Available as part of a pre-built Attitude-X Study. A questionnaire that is part of an Attitude-X Study is designed to evaluate specific aspects of various types of businesses (business categories). The complex analysis of responses is generated using statistical methods integrated with question design to analyse and visualise response data.

The analysis presented by Attitude-X is designed to be simple to consume and does not require any background or training in statistics or data analysis methods.

Note

The analysis visualisations presented by Attitude-X are data rich ie, they present lots of useful information. For this reason, Attitude-X visualisations are better viewed on a desktop computer.

Accessing Study Analysis

1. To get started, login to Attitude-X.

2. From the Attitude-X dashboard, click on the study containing the analytics you wish to view. The form page will be displayed.

3. To access study analytics, select the Analytics tab from the form page.

   

4. Depending on the type of study, the menu options on the left side of the page will differ.

   1. The following two menu items are available for both Custom Studies and Attitude-X Studies:

      1. Overview - Providing access to the summary analytics of study responses.

      2. Submissions - Providing access to individual, anonymous study responses.

   2. If you are accessing analytics for an Attitude-X Study, you will see an additional menu item:

      1. Complex Analysis - Providing access to the suite of complex analytics that are integrated into the pre-built Attitude-X Study. For details on the available options, see Complex Analysis.

      Note

      Overview and Submissions analytics are the same irrespective of which study type is created.

5. If this is the first time you have accessed the analytics view, you may see the following message in the analytics view (identifier will vary):

   

   This message is visible if response data has not yet been processed.

   Note

   The Sync Data process runs automatically every 3 hours. When the sync process has completed, analytics will be available to view. If the analytics does not appear, click on the Overview menu item again to refresh the view.

6. Click the Overview menu item to refresh the analytics view. To view the response summary for each question, click on Question Responses.

   

7. Click the Submissions menu item to view submission data.

   

   If preferred, data can be viewed in Grid view by selecting the Grid View button on the Analytics view page.

8. To view each submission, click on a submission listed in the analytics view.

   Note

   Individual study submissions contain valuable information when a study contains Free Text or Numeric form elements.

9. To return to the Attitude-X dashboard, click on the Attitude-X logo on the top left of the page.
